There’s a new largest online slot jackpot ever hit and that one, just as the previous record-breaker, was landed on Microgaming’s Mega Moolah progressive jackpot network.

Late last month, a player in Belgium struck the record €19,430,723.60 win on the Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah online slot to make history.

Launched in May 2020, this stunning Alice in Wonderland-themed game is just one in a series of new releases to feature Microgaming’s iconic Mega Moolah progressive jackpot engine. Since its rollout, the game has awarded more than €46 million in over 500,000 wins across all jackpot tiers.

The largest one made someone €19.4 million richer. The player landed the whopping prize playing Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah at Napoleon Sports & Casino on April 27, 2021, a leading Belgian online gambling platform.

It should be noted that Napoleon itself has had quite a streak of big jackpot hits as one of its players struck a €2,025,388.75 jackpot playing Microgaming’s Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot online slot just over a week before the €19-million+ win.

As with all other wins on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, no matter their size, this record-breaking one will be paid out to the winner in a lump sum.

Absolootly Delighted

Commenting on the historic event, Microgaming CEO John Coleman said that they are absolootly delighted to see their Mega Moolah jackpot engine “make history once again with its latest record-breaking win, and what an incredible win it is – €19.4 million!”

Mr. Coleman also congratulated Napoleon on their second Mega jackpot win on the Microgaming network in as many weeks.

Napoleon Sports & Casino CEO Tim De Borle said that they are completely over the moon. He went on to explain that the winner of the record Mega Moolah jackpot had read about the earlier €2-million+ WowPot win and had “pursued his own dreams and luck on the other Microgaming jackpot-giant.”

Mr. De Borle said it feels to them their side has become “the home of the jackpot” and that this latest massive win has become “the absolute highlight of the amazing partnership we have with Microgaming.”

It should be noted that this is the latest eight-figure jackpot to have been hit in less than a month. In mid-April, a 32Red player from the UK transformed a £0.80 stake on Microgaming’s Book of Atem: WowPot into a €17,529,047.11 (£15,183,085.96) prize.

The latest hefty wins have cemented the position of the major provider’s progressive jackpot network as an industry stalwart. The network has so far paid out more than €1.3 billion in prizes of different size across all its jackpots, tiers, and games.
